A cruise is a great vacation because it includes everything you need and lets you see many places. Traveling is risky.

This was revealed after 14-year-old American Aydin Brown disappeared while on a European cruise with his grandmother.

Aydin and his grandmother left Southampton, England, on a 12-day Caribbean Princess cruise on June 30. Aydin’s mother took her to Copenhagen and Stockholm. Things went wrong when Aydin disappeared in Germany on July 4. Last seen leaving the ship at 7 a.m.

Cops Give Aydin Brown
Aydin left his grandma and explored Rostock-Warnemรผnde harbor. Aydin was observed on security camera talking to an unnamed person before going to Warnemรผnde church square. Princess Cruises Line allowed Aydin’s mother and granny to fly to Germany after he disappeared.

Aydin was 120 miles from the harbor at 10 p.m. Saturday. He was set to meet a 19-year-old after police found no crime. Aydin’s family rejoined safely. Princess Cruises commended German authorities for their quick response.

Some cruise ships never find their passengers, unlike Aydin’s happy conclusion. Travel securely with these tips:

Use the buddy system to always travel with someone. This assures support in case of trouble.

Cruise ships have rigorous schedules and won’t wait for latecomers. Remember to check the departure time twice a day and set alarms to go back on board.

Bring only what you need for the day. Leave credit cards, cash, and other documents at home or aboard the ship to prevent theft.

Be Responsible: Drink occasionally, but don’t overdo it. Too much drinking might cause accidents, delayed departures, and worse.

Get to Know the Staff: Cruise staff will notice anything wrong and offer safety advise. Understanding them will increase your safety.

Traveling is exciting, but be careful. Follow these suggestions to enjoy your trip without risking it.
