Dr. Anthony Fauci’s taxpayer-funded security detail was cut by President Trump.

As the primary health official and public communicator during the COVID-19 epidemic, Fauci got threats, thus the NIH requested security for him in 2020, Fox News reported.

Before this, Trump revoked the security clearances of 51 intelligence officials who falsely claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” as well as information given to former CIA Director Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Fauci has been in the news multiple times since Trump took office on Jan. 20.
