A man has been arrested in connection with one of several devastating wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles and parts of California. While fires like Kenneth, Hurst, and Lidia continue to burn, the Palisades and Eaton fires are the most destructive. At least 10 people have died, and thousands have been forced to evacuate, many losing their homes to the flames.

Reports suggest that the Kenneth Fire, the newest blaze, may have been intentionally started. Locals claim they saw a man with a blowtorch setting fire to Christmas trees and trash cans before he was detained by residents and arrested by authorities.

Firefighters are making progress in controlling some of the fires, but strong winds continue to spread the flames rapidly. Over 10,000 buildings have been destroyed, and evacuation routes are clogged with fleeing residents. Off-duty firefighters and bulldozers have been deployed to assist in containing the fires.
