Truth isn’t always what it seems, and the world is full of strange and scary stories that make us question what we think we know. Strange events and strange coincidences can happen in these stories, which are sometimes so unbelievable that they sound more like the plots of horror books or urban legends.

“When we were kids, my little sister and I camped in the woods. Like many other people in the area, we saw this bald man with a blue shirt and a dog walking around. I felt tight in the chest for some reason, and I think my sister did too, because we both gave each other this look. While he was walking away, I took a picture of his back. I don’t know what made me do it. We see the same guy again near the lake after some time. He asks us about the tent we’re carrying, where we plan to set it up, and if our dad is coming with us. We lie and say, “Yes, we’re just going to see him now.” At a fork in the path, we walked up until we were out of sight. Then, we jumped down a path that was hidden by bushes and waited for them on the other trail for a while. As we left, the guy pretended to play with his dog so he wouldn’t notice us. He then turned around and ran up the path after us. He didn’t see us because we were hidden, so he kept going straight where he thought we had gone. We changed our minds about camping and went home.
That night, my mom showed us a post in the neighborhood group that had a picture of the same bald man trying to break into someone’s house. lavandraacid on Reddit

“Watering my friend’s garden while they were on vacation while I stood outside their house.” Not even 30 seconds after I locked and closed the door, six men began beating on it, reaching into the mail slot to try to open it, and yelling at me to leave. The gl_zzygod on Reddit

“My daughter and I were at Taco Bell when I saw a man enter and leave with a T-shirt over his hand.” I told her to put her tray down and move on. We quickly got into our car and drove off. The guy robbed the store with a gun hidden under his T-shirt, which I learned later on the news. Reddit / YouThinkYouKnowStuff

“Having pizza that my host made while sitting in their backyard with their two kids, my husband, and another friend.” The day was clear and beautiful, and there wasn’t much wind. After getting out of the pool and being happy, we were ready for pizza when I felt tense. These kids are about 8 and 10 years old. I looked right at them and told them, “Get in the house.”
As we all scurried around, we heard a rustling sound. About 5 seconds later, a big branch from their pine tree fell onto the table where we were sitting. Thank goodness no one got hurt, but we had to clean pine needles off of our pizza. Without realizing it, I think I heard the branch begin to break. on Reddit and tomyownrhythm

“I was scuba diving in Asia with three other people. We went to a reef that no one had ever dived on before, and the bottom was 50 to 70 meters deep.” We all felt like we were being watched for five minutes into the dive. I tried to ignore it, but the feeling wouldn’t go away.
About 10 minutes into the dive, we all saw the outline of a white shark slowly glide by, right on the edge of what we could see. Then after one minute, glide back the other way. It was the scariest three minutes of my life during the decompression stop to get out. Have fun-Chard5729 on Reddit
