Projected to win Arizona, President-elect Donald Trump will have defeated Kamala Harris throughout every battleground state in the 2024 contest.
Trump has secured all seven of the competitive states—Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona—with the call in Arizona.
With 312 Electoral College votes today, Trump boasts the most of any contender.
Leading up the election, poll results revealed a rather close contest. Going into Election Day, Trump averaged 2.8 points ahead of Harris. Little more money has been spent on political commercials in Arizona this year than it did in 2020.
“For all political levels, both sides spent $427 million in the state in 2020. With Democrats spending $308 million to $147 million for Republicans, that figure has now climbed to $487 million spent in the state for all political elections. Democrats outspent Republicans $122 million to $83 million for the 2024 presidential contest in the state, the Daily Wire observed.
After Trump was proclaimed the winner over Harris, Vice President-elect J.D. Vance was fired up.
Vance praised his family and friends in a tweet on X, formerly known as Twitter following Republicans’ outstanding election night.
“THANK YOU!” To my lovely wife for enabling me to do this. For allowing me such a chance to serve our nation at this level, President Donald J. Trump thanks you. And to the American people for their confidence. I will never stop advocating for ALL of you, Vance tweeted.
Early Wednesday morning during his victory speech at Trump Headquarters, Trump remarked “God spared [his] life for a reason.”

Having been the target of two assassination attempts since July, Trump expressed in his 25-minute speech from West Palm Beach, Florida his gratitude for a second presidency.
“This is a fantastic triumph for the American people that will enable us to bring America back to glory. Apart from winning the battleground states of North Carolina, I love Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin; today, we are winning in Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, and Alaska, so carrying at least 315 electoral votes. However, since there was no alternative path, following what the networks did—or whoever called it—is far simpler. There was no other way to win. We also took first place in the public voting. That turned out fantastic. As the throng yelled “USA! USA!” Trump remarked, “That’s fantastic.”
“Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason—that of saving our nation and so restoring America to glory,” Trump remarked. “And now we are going to fulfil that mission together.”
” thanked you. I greatly appreciate it. I will tell you, winning the popular vote was very good. One gets a wonderful sense of love. With amazing individuals at my side, this really big room makes us very fond of love. These have been amazing folks. We are going to make you extremely happy; they have journey with me. We will make you rather proud of your vote, he remarked.
“I hope you will be looking back someday and say, “That was one of the really significant events of my life, when I voted for this group of people, beyond the president. These are some really outstanding folks. America has bestowed upon us an unheard-of and forceful mission. The Senate has been again under our control. Fantastic, Trump said.
“The task before us will not be easy, but I will bring every ounce of energy, spirit, and fighting that I have in my soul to the job that you have assigned me,” he said.
