Following her apparent warning she could continue to pursue charges against him despite his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, an attorney for President-elect Donald Trump lashed out at New York Attorney General Letitia James.
James said this during a Wednesday press conference following Trump’s historic triumph.
” so we find ourselves here. We have looked at their websites. We have noted certain possibilities and fact patterns. We have backup strategies. We are therefore ready regardless of what the new government throws at us, she advised reporters.
“We are prepared to react to any initiatives aiming at reducing or eradicating any support to the wonderful state of New York as the governor said. We shall thus keep tall in the face of injustice, retribution, or revenge, defend and our most vulnerable and underprivileged among us notwithstanding what has happened on the national level. Working with the governor of this wonderful state, Kathy Hochul, I am sworn duty and responsibility to lead that fight.
“This is not the time to be afraid, New York,” she said, “but faithful and strong, knowing that I, the Attorney General, along with my whole team, are law protectors. And my friends, we are ready to fight back. One thanks.
Trump attorney Mike Davis, who threatened his own during an interview on conservative podcaster Bennie Johnson’s show, found those remarks unsatisfactory.
Let me simply say this to the New York Attorney General, Big Tish James. You are brave enough to keep your law-fare against President Trump ongoing! Davis declared. “Listen here, darling; we will put your big a** in prison for conspiracy against rights; we are not kidding about this time. You are promised that.
Concurrently, the judge supervising Trump’s so-called “hush money” case—where he was found guilty of felonies—is contemplating completely throwing the case.
Although Trump is scheduled to be sentenced in the case on November 26, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan may simply discard the convictions according to the New York Post. According to the outlet, he supposedly will make decisions by Tuesday next week.

The massive electoral victory of Trump will empower his legal team “to make sure that sentencing never happens,” CNN top legal affairs analyst Paula Reid said late Wednesday.
Reid said, “Here they will contend to the judge that the sentence should never occur since now Trump is president-elect.” “They will say that he should be sheltered from state actors, in this case state prosecutors, and is entitled to the same constitutional protections as a sitting president.”
After being found guilty on 34 charges of felony fabricating business documents connected to payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels before of the 2016 election, Trump could be sentenced anywhere from four years in jail.
Some legal analysts already forecast Trump won’t spend any time behind bars.
Former prosecutor Neama Rahmani said, “Merchan lacks the stomach to confine a former president or president-elect”. “Trump’s criminal issues disappear now he has won.”
Regarding his own team building for his future term, Trump has started.
Trump’s wildy successful 2024 campaign co-chair Susie Wiles was appointed chief of staff to start his second term.
Wiles was a point person for Trump’s campaign in Florida during his victorious 2016 campaign and worked for his Save America super PAC.
